MOSSUM Index: this indicator, commonly referred to as the McClellan Oscillator Summation Index, is based upon the McClellan Oscillator, and tracks the trend of NYSE market breadth (NYSE Advances & Declines). In essence, this is a directional indicator which depicts whether most stocks are advancing, declining, or not going much of anywhere in the intermediate term, and is often useful in displaying shifts in market direction over the intermediate term.
